Most character names are puns, in Frenglish, a mix of French and English. J'ai déjà dis que j'étais français? Baguette.

Carble, for exemple, is Carré (Square) and Bubble

Teref is Terre (Earth, Dirt) and Chef (Leader)

Names are tied to a robot's appearence or capabilites.

Nabur is Ruban (Ribbon) backwards. Why? Who knows... Perhaps in a future chapter.

Ctao is an anagram of Taco. Its shape, sort of.

I'll let you guess for Penta and Drill, though.
